Terms and Conditions for DataAware (SMAST) – Free 1-Year Access
1. Eligibility and Acceptance
- Free access is granted for a period of one (1) year from the date of account activation.
- By accessing or using the DataAware platform, users accept these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply with them fully.
2. Access Rights and Restrictions
- Access is personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and intended solely for the registered user or organization.
- Users must not share credentials or allow third parties to use their access.
- SMAST reserves the right to suspend or revoke access if misuse, unauthorized sharing, or breach of these terms occurs.
3. Permitted Use
- The platform may only be used for educational, awareness, research, or non-commercial data management and analytics purposes.
- Any form of commercial exploitation, derivative work, automated data mining, or distribution of platform content is strictly prohibited without written consent from SMAST.
4. Data Privacy and Security
- Users agree to provide accurate registration information and are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials.
- DataAware may process user data for platform operations, analytics, and security. All data handling will comply with relevant data protection laws (e.g., GDPR).
- Users shall not upload or share any proprietary, confidential, or personal data unless they have all necessary rights, permissions, and consents to do so.
5. Intellectual Property
- All intellectual property rights in DataAware, including software, content, graphics, and logos, remain the property of SMAST or its licensors.
- Access to the platform does not transfer any intellectual property rights to users
6. Limitation of Liability
- DataAware is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- SMAST will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform
7. Duration and Termination
- Free access will automatically expire after one year unless renewed or otherwise stated by SMAST.
- SMAST reserves the right to terminate access at any time in cases of misuse or breach of these conditions.
8. Modifications
- SMAST may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after notice of changes means acceptance of the revised terms.
